Sake CupーBlueWhite Glaze III (Greenish Hue)
Description
Handcrafted by ceramic artist Kifumi Kawamura in Kamakura, this sake cup reveals the quiet beauty of the historic climbing kiln, Kichuyo. Soft waves of blue-white glaze drift across the warm clay surface, forming natural patterns shaped by flame and ash. Its wider opening and elevated foot create a graceful silhouette and a comfortable presence in the hand. Pale greenish tones emerge naturally where ash settles during firing, creating an organic, tender color transition across the clay.
This cup can also be beautifully paired with the Duck Sake Carafe or Wine/Sake Carafe as a matching set.
Dimensions:
D. 3” (Ø 7.6 cm)
H. 2 1/2” (H. 6.4 cm)
It comes in a wooden box signed by the artist
