Sake CupーBlueWhite Glaze II
Description
Handcrafted by ceramic artist Kifumi Kawamura in Kamakura, this sake cup reflects the expressive character of the traditional Japanese climbing kiln, Kichuyo. During the long wood-firing process, variations in flame, heat, and ash create natural transitions across the surface, giving the blue-white glaze its soft, wave-like patterns that emerge uniquely in each firing.
Elegant in form and comfortable in the hand, this cup can be beautifully paired with the Duck Sake Carafe or Wine/Sake Carafe as a matching set.
Dimensions:
D. 3 1/8” (Ø 8 cm)
H. 1 7/8” (H. 5 cm)
It comes in a wooden box signed by the artist
