Sake CupーBlue White Glaze I
Description
Handcrafted by ceramic artist Kifumi Kawamura in Kamakura, this sake cup reflects the expressive character of the traditional Japanese climbing kiln, Kichuyo. During the long, wood-firing process, variations in flame, heat, and ash create natural transitions across the surface, giving the blue-white glaze its soft, landscape-like movement unique to each firing.
With its refined silhouette and quiet interplay of glaze and clay, this cup balances rustic warmth with graceful elegance. It can also be paired beautifully with the Duck Sake Carafe or Wine/Sake Carafe as a matching set.
Dimensions:
D. 2 1/4” (Ø 5.57 cm)
H. 2” (H. 5 cm)
It comes in a wooden box signed by the artist
